Please help, baby chick is down!

All the articles and pages I have read says to start at 95-100 degrees but I guess they were wrong. I’m trying to get to the ranch supply store but traffic is terrible. I left the baby chick with plenty of food and water and layer her right by it. I even tried to get her to drink a little bit of sugar water so she’d at least have the energy to get some food and water but no luck. Hopefully I can get back in time. I’ll be so sad if she doesn’t make it.

Thank you all for your advice!

Edit: I’m rushing home right now with Sav-a-chick electrolyte and probiotics, I really hope I make it in time. I shouldn’t have waited so long.

Please keep us posted on her.

And yes, it is a learning curve. We've all made well intentioned mistakes.

Praying the little one recovers promptly....you will likely have to eye dropper liquids at first.

Sorry I haven't replied guys, I've been stressed keeping up with these little girls. When I got back from the store the chick had already died. I cried as I buried her by myself. I moved the rest of my chicks inside to an extra bedroom and they're all doing much better but now I have other concerns. I posted another thread about it.
