PLEASE HELP!!! bloody open wound on tail!!

i have a polish hen who has always been picked on, but i've never had a problem until now.....
so i went outside too take care of them and i noticed blood on her tail so i looked closer and realized
that most of her tail feathers where gone, i was pretty freaked out. i'm thinking about using
gauze and neosporin and medical tape to close it up, and i wondered if that was okay.
any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Neosporin is a good idea, and isolate her from the rest of the flock.

thanks we just put up a cage in the coop for her, and we're going to catch her and put
neosporin on her cut. thanks!!

blu-cote would work too with the added benefit that it "disguises" the red blood!

do you have ducks? they tend to eat my chickens' bottom feathers....
