PLEASE HELP! Chick Pushing Against Membrane: Help Or Wait?

Update: Baby is doing well! Still not hatched, but has one toe out and head out! I had to peel back some membrane but I really am excited for this little one! I think the prognosis is very good! I just wish I could tell if they finished absorbing their yolk sac before assisting further!
Somehow i missed this! Ive been off and on BYC waiting for a notification. :p

Do you have a picture of the membrane you could share? It hadnt pipped internally on its own so it could be another full day before its ready.

I spoke too soon...I knew I should NOT have left the baby! I layed down for a quick nap and woke to the little one newly gone. :hit:hit:hit:hit:hit
5 beautiful babies, ALL lost at hatch...4 silkies, 1 BLRW...apparently the altitude is the issue. I am shattered. Absolutely shattered.

So sorry. Always such a bummer to go through. :hugsWhat is your altitude? There are shifts in the rules for incubating at altitude, humidity being HUGE!
