You could easily trim them 1/2 cm from the skin.
Without a syringe you’d need to pour water over it. (I doubt your mom would want you to use her turkey baster ) Rinse and rinse and rinse the wound. If you can’t make the saline, water will do. Better then nothing.
I’d let it dry a little so the neosporin doesn’t just slide off. You want to keep the wound moist but not goopy. Same with the honey. It can melt a little more then neosporin with body heat.
I’d just blob whatever you are going to use onto the wound. If you want a cotton swab could be used to move it around a bit.
Do what you can with what you have.

I have that. Not sure about the oregano though... I have oregano oil. Is that the same?

Just to be clear, it is absolutely possible for this girl to recover from this attack. The wound is bad, but I have seen amazingly horrific injuries done that are posted on this board where the chicken recovers! Raw organic honey applied on a clean, rinsed wound would be extremely helpful and the oil of oregano is also! Clipping the feathers around the wound is a great idea, and help you to apply whatever your salve/ointment/remedy of choice more effectively and uniformly.

Isn't oregano oil fatal to chickens? Maybe my memory isn't good. It's been a stressful year so far because of my moms health issues, my cat broke his hip and it cost a lot of money, and now this. :/

Clipping the feathers won’t hurt her. It will help keep more dirt out of the wound. Flushing it with plain water is better then nothing. You can make your own saline...
“Saline is also a good thing to have to flush eyes or wounds. You can buy it or make your own. Add 1 teaspoonful of table salt to a quart/liter of water, and bring to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce to a simmer for 15 minutescovered, and then cool before storing in a clean canning jar.” from another BYCer.
A good wound rinse will be easy and help a lot. If she’s really wet you can use a hair dryer on her. I would blow it on the wound but if other parts of her get wet it’s an easy way to dry them. You can follow with neosporin or honey.
Do what you can. Like I said before you’re doing more for her then her owners did.

Can I apply that over the neosporin? I just want to make sure because some chemicals can react with one another and I don't want to make her even worse.

I would try to wipe away the neosporin if you want to switch to honey. I’ve given oregano oil to my chickens without problem. Even a little Bantam girl who’s not even 2lbs.

I would put a few drops of oregano oil in a quart of water and give that for her to drink. It isn't toxic to chickens like that, and there are references that support that around this forum somewhere.

You don't know how relieved I feel after you said that. Sorry I meant the Saline soulution. Is that ok? So I can put the oregano over the wound?
