Please help!!!!! Chicken attacked by husky.

I would put a few drops of oregano oil in a quart of water and give that for her to drink. It isn't toxic to chickens like that, and there are references that support that around this forum somewhere.

Now I am thinking about possibly dipping some soldier fly larvae in oregano oil and giving it that way to my cockerel who has a beginning "very early stages of a possible bumblefoot".....

Oil of oregano has a lot of antibiotic properties, but I speak from personal experience.. IT BURNS!! When applied on raw skin, it doesn't feel too good at all! But if that's all you have, you may have to try it. I have not heard of it being toxic to chickens, maybe someone else here has used it on a chicken. I would dilute it just a pinch, possibly with coconut oil, unless someone knows of something better. But I think an oral antibiotic would be beneficial for this injury, usually the feed store will have some in stock. Good luck with her, I really hope she pulls thru.

Ok then just let it be. If it starts acting weird try to take it to the vet

you can try haeping her or him be conforting it and putting some antibiotic in the wound and then cover it up. also if you haven't gone to the vet you should go

There is no possible way because my mother has a health problem and can't drive. I have to stay here and use everything I have in my house for her.
