Please help!!!!! Chicken attacked by husky.

Pics
There is no possible way because my mother has a health problem and can't drive. I have to stay here and use everything I have in my house for her.
Oh ok. Then just give the chicken some love and hope for the best. You can also research some organic medicine you can craft. that is what my owner did for me

Now I am thinking about possibly dipping some soldier fly larvae in oregano oil and giving it that way to my cockerel who has a beginning "very early stages of a possible bumblefoot".....
Oh that's too bad. Thankfully I have never had a bumble foot chicken but apparently it's pretty common.

Please stop spamming my thread. I have a sick chicken and you two aren't helping with anything at the moment. I need people who actually know what they're doing please.
I agree with most people on here, she doesn't look bad, good color, looks calm and relaxed. Try to get some food into her, clean the wound, and try to get some antibiotics for her when you can.

That's such good news. I gag and get grossed out quite easily so maybe I was overreacting. It's still really bad though. She's eating okay. (I put our normal food with two eggs in it) and gave her some electrolytes in her water to calm her down. I'm planning to wash the cut this evening.

They’re not home currently and they said we could look after her. I put Neosporin on it and she has electrolytes. I realize that, sadly. I'd like to do as much as possible for her right now and if worse comes to worse, we'll cull her. View attachment 1256267
This does not look bad to me at all.
Keep it clean, apply a little ointment and she should be good to go.

That's good to hear. Thank you.

Does washing it with salt and water sound okay to you? Do you have any other ideas on how to wash it? No stitches though, right?
NO..I would not use salt.
Plain water is fine.
Spraying it each day with something like this would be a good idea too.

But if you don't have this on hand or can't get it then water is fine.

What you don't want to do is stress the bird more than you really need to.
If she is back to eating and pecking around I would not bother her again.
It is really not a bad bobo in my opinion and it will heal on its own.

Oh ok. Thanks.

I don't have that, sadly. When I can get out of the house I can try to pick some up.

That's true.
She's eating and drinking (mostly eating) but not moving or anything. She seems to be calm.

Good...she should make a full recovery.
This one picture I saw at the beginning of this thread is the only injury correct?
(I will come back and read the thread later..I don't have time right now, Just wanted to jump in to reply from the tag)
