And also I know what glen and rose are now.

I found out that a lohman which is a hybrid or something, is a mix between a rhode island red and a light sussex. so glen and rose are, Rhode island red, light sussex and australorp.

I have decided what I will be hatching out next ( I have changed my mind soooo many times ), EVERYTHING

my incubator fits 100 ( maybe more if I get bantams ) eggs in it so I will choose as many breeds as I can and incubate them all and end up keeping the breeds I like and selling the ones I don't. The only problem is knowing which ones are which after they hatch

. What do you think? Good idea?

And I forgot to say, in the last two pictures their water is filthy and I did clean it after I took the photos, I usually clean it two or more times a day, but that day I didn't do it early in the morning, I did it midday thats why it's so dirty.

What do you do with all the chick after they hatch? You don't keep them all do you.

Right now I have over 200, but less than 300 ..... I think!

I am growing out the ones I want to become breeders. Then, I will only keep 2 roos and 8 hens, of each breed. I have my breeder pens done, but still have to finish the fencing for the runs. I have 10 of those.

After I have decided who the keepers are .... I will sell the rest. Currently, I have been selling off some excess roosters that I know won't make the cut. I also have the local feed store sell some chicks for me.

So, what breeds are you looking at .... to incubate? You HAVE to incubate some Coronation Sussex!
