Please help. Do I have a Roo?

Feed store gave me 90 percent sure to be a hen. But I have doubts. It is just so stinkin sweet whatever it is. But I can't have a roo in my area.

the girls dont get that red until they're a lot older. that's a boy.

Yup, that's a boy. Comb is too red for it's age.

Thanks guys. Just took him back to the feed store. And got a new little Buff. Fingers crossed. My poor sons were so attached to him. It is a sad sad day for this urban farmer. I know they must learn to feel loss. But it still sucks.

Any idea on what kind of bantam that lil guy is? A friend of mine got that for me cause she knew i wanted to start chickens but i cant remember what it was, she got him at orschelns, hope its a rooster actually i want to hear it crow

That would be a roo for sure looks just like my Horny Henry (he mounts everything including a snow shovel)
