Please help duck leg issue

Niacinamide is not niacin though. They are two different kinds of vitamin b-3, which means they are processed differently and have different effects.
Niacinamide which is also known as nicotinamide is a form of niacin and will work well in treating niacin-related deficits in birds. It is used because it has proven its efficacy over the years for treating these types of problems. t is preferred to the other form of niacin ( nicotinic acid) as it does not cause a flushing effect in birds which can adversely affect vitamin absorption. It is under my impression in many cases veterinarians will recommend this form for treating severe niacin deficits.

Could you tell me if this would be safe? I had read a story of a duck named Meg that had pretty bad legs like my quakmyer and they said the gave half a capsule of 500mg nician over peas once a day for a few weeks and there duck got 90% better. Would this be a safe one to give I have read not to give flush free.

I had one duckling with both legs that she couldn’t straiten out they were frozen in the sitting position,I had to make a heartbreaking decision to put her down I tried niacin/vitamin B and even did stretch therapy on her legs she just progressively deteriated and it just seem cruel to let her suffer.I really hope you can help your little one back on her feet.
