Please help, duckling pipped wrong end of egg :(

I had a chick that pipped like this (wrong end so internal and external pip are the same in one) and I left it alone once I realized that it had access to air. I kept humidity up and it ended up hatching without any assistance, which is common. The main problem is whenever they're unable to penetrate the shell, which ends up not able to get air. This shows up as a bruise and is often and easily overlooked. I'm still not sure if this one should be turned for the pip to be upwards. I know that @MGG has a busy summer planned so that's probably why she hasn't replied.

He's still doing good. Little bill is sticking out and I think hes chewing/yawning. I know they take forever to hatch. I'm just so impatient lol. I'm at work today so I have a baby camera up watching the egg lol...

Sounds great! That's such a wonderful idea with the baby cam! Are you going to get another duckling for this one? I'm so excited for it's hatch. I've got two that hatched out a day apart from each other. One is 3 days old and the other is 2 days old. The first one is still so attached to me. I'm hoping they will bond with each other because it's heartbreaking to hear it cry. As soon as I pick it up, it settles into my hand and is so happy and content. Ducklings are the cutest little things ever so it's difficult to not love on them every chance I get.

Yeah I initially had 4 eggs but since only one actually was fertile I am planning to get him a friend. I've been keeping an eye out to see if someone is selling ducklings. Id like to get one similar in age.

He's here!!!!!!
