PLEASE HELP ! gave pullets sulmet will they stop laying ?????

Hi all!

I recently had to buy some sodium sulfamethazine for my two 6 week old chicks who had gotten coccidiosis from the persom who I bought them from on saturday. These chicks were in contact with two 4 month old pullets that i also just purchased on saturday. So i gave them a small dosage of the sulfamethazine just to be safe that they dont get infected aswell.... a few days after I had treated the birds I read the whole bottle and it said... contraindication: this product must not be used on laying birds

... But the pullets have not laid for me yet so would they be concidered laying birds?????? Please advise asap

my understanding is if they are already laying they will stop. but Mabey someone with more info will post because I have never used it just read the post from other people

Stop laying forever or just while they were being treated??
