    Hi!

Can someone please help me determine the gender of my chicken?
She was an assisted hatch, and has come out a bit funny in her appearance and the way she acts. But she's the most lovely chicken! Loves to cuddle and couldn't hurt a fly (even if she tried).
Only problem is, we don't know if it's a she or a he - as it shows qualities of both genders.... He/she is 3 months old. Thanks so much for your help!! [IMG][IMG][/IMG]

To sex chickens/silkies please post a picture that clearly shows the head, comb, and tail feathers.

I don't really see any silkie in this bird.

He/she comes from a farm with a lot of different breeds - but this one has the Afro, so they've said there is silkie in him/her. As for the other Breeds in it, I haven't got much of a clue. Sorry :(

I'm thinking Polish cross, not silkie. I'm leaning toward cockerel, but not positive.
