I had to remove a gosling from the parents due to curled toes.

I strapped the toes and they are doing better today, I have given anitone and the swelling has gone down. Some bruising remains. I will apply some arnica.

Yesterday he took a few steps with supports with feet strapped.

The problem is today he still can't walk, but now he can't bare weight on one leg, the knee seems to hyper extend a little and he can't lift the foot. He didn't use it while swimming today either. His hips seem to click too.

I have him in a sling in a container to take weight off his legs for a few days. Any other advice welcome!!

I really don't want to cull, I've become attached

What are you feeding this precious lil one? I'd def get some liquid B complex and start him on that you can get some at TSC in the cattle dept it will say injectable but it's given orally to our birds 1 ml daily or go to Walmart and buy the human form that will be 3ml daily since it isn't as concentrated. Get him on that and have you been massaging maybe put him into some nice warm water and try some massage. That little thing is so adorable I sure hope you can get him up and walking. Is a vet an option> Avian

He is on anitone which is a good animal vitamin complex. I have him swimming in warm water twice daily and have been massaging as well. There is pretty bad overall weakness in the legs and feet and something seems off in his hips. He is going to the avian vet tomorrow
Wish me luck, I've really fallen for him :barnie
