PLEASE HELP!!! Green skin [[PICTURE ENCLOSED]]

@Fancychooklady and to everyone else on this thread,

I did some research and I saw under Preventative Measures that I should not be giving her a lot of protein. However, she eats a scrambled egg once a day but still gets lot of vitamins and electrolytes from the powder I put in her water. Do you think her leg will get better if I stop giving her an egg a day? (I only give her an egg a day to make up for the lost nutrition from when she was pretty sick and was only eating canned corn, and she will only take her pain medication of Metacam/Meloxicam if I disguise it in the egg.)

A complete layer feed is always best but as your hen has not been getting her requirements the 13% protein in the egg won't do any harm. Remember that rates listed are for able bodied chickens.

@casportpony do you happen to know anything about my case? I saw you had a lot of great input for @guernsi but my chicken is 8 years old now and I know slipped tendons can only happen in young birds. Anything will really help as I know with slipped tendons the timing of catching it within 24 hours is very important. Thank you so much

Green skin can be bruising, but she must have just re-injured the hock . I just read that she is paralyzed in that leg, and she is 8 years old, is that correct? Has she fallen or does she get around okay? Do you feel that she has Mareks disease?
What can there be done to help with the bruising? Do I just make sure that she doesn't put pressure on it?

It could be the aftermath of a serious bruising, instead of gangrene. Hopefully a more experienced chicken person will chime in soon. If they don't, take Bocktobery's advice and find an avian vet to determine what that is. Please keep us posted.
Yes, I don't think it is gangrene and it is just the little spot there but it seems to seriously hurt her. I haven't taken her back to my vet because he is not very experienced with chickens and just tells me that I'm crazy for wanting to help her and that since she's clearly in pain I should just put her down. (but she is on pain medication all the time) but I know this leg clearly is a problem for her and her mobility.

I don't think there is anything to be done for bruising, except to keep her off of it. I'm not sure if you would want to try a chicken sling to get her off her hock, but they are used with Mareks and broken or paralyzed legs. Here are some photos:

How is she doing?  Has the green skin color gone away?
Thank you so much @Eggcessive for asking and following up on her. She ascended up into chicken heaven two Thursdays ago. I believe she had cancer and it had spread all throughout her body and was pressing on her sciatica so she lost function to her leg. I miss her dearly but I know she is not suffering anymore.

Thanks to everyone for all the support during this time. I really appreciated it.
