Please help! Has anyone ever seen this?

My little girl suddenly started this lastnight after going in the coop. She was fine all day and when I went to go lock up the coop, she was laying/rolling on the floor doing this. All other hens are fine and not acting out of the ordinary. She won’t eat or drink. Today I wormed her, gave her some electrolyte water via tube feed.

Sounds like she is having trouble breathing. I can hear her wheezing and struggling a bit to draw in a breathe. Is her crop emptying at night?

I just found her like this lastnight. Her crop didn’t seem fullor hard, but kinda boggy. I’ve withheld food for today and just gave her fluids. I will hopefully see what the morning brings if she makes it.

Can you please look into her mouth to see if she has waxy plaque in there? She may have a respiratory illness, and one kind causes sticky plaques inside the mouth and throat, blocking off the airway. Is there a foul odor coming from her breath? If so, does it smell like sauerkraut or like road kill?

If you have a vaporizer, you can set her up with it with Oxine in the water or peppermint oil to help her breath.
