She was probably laying an egg, or sometimes they just do that.

It could of been a warning call. Either she saw or heard something that scared her. Our coop is 100% pitch black until I open their door or turn the light on, so they can't see anything. I've also heard the egg song from the hens even before their egg is laid, my RIR is good at this. They are for sure noisy. We fully insulated our coop, which is built in the garage. I can hear them, but it's faint. Fully insulating really helps keep the sound in too, but we get pretty cold winters here.
