Please help her out... Who did it? (UPDATE P.2)

They do make them, but I'm not attached to him. I've been trying to sell him for a while, just because I don't really like runners all that much. Now, I just want him gone. I can't bring myself to kill him and eat him. Besides, there's not that much meat on a runner and no one at the house but me likes duck. I had a lady who was supposed to pick him up yesterday and was a no show. Then, she emailed me today wanting to come get him. Again, she didn't show up. It's really frustrating.

If your Rouen likes to get on your other ducks backs, I'd wait to put her in with them until she is healed. I think I'd definitely let them free range together to make sure they get used to each other(with supervision of course) before you just put her in with the others as well. When you add a newbie to the flock, they need a transition time.

I had her with my nicer hen at first, but then the drake went crazy on her when he finally got to be with her. I might just keep her with the babies and let them out together. They all bonded well. I am looking at getting a couple more ducks as well, so I might also wait to introduce them until she isn't the only new one.
