i've only hatched 1 other chicken egg before... *i did some quail one time..but..they dont count..they just hop out of the shells..* this is SO much differant...

as long as it still looks transparent...leave it alone...
if it turns white crusty you may need to mist it with warm water...just needs to stay pliable...pretty sure he will be able to do the rest if you can see his face

I'm crossing my fingers for that little chickie! c'mon chickie, you can do it!!!

and don't feel too bad... although a lot of BYCers are anti-helping-chicks, a lot of us have also helped chicks and had them live... I still haven't gotten my humidity 100% right at hatch time and I have helped 4 chicks out of the shell now and they're all big and strong... so interference isn't ALWAYS bad... and it's really hard to know when it's okay to help and when it isn't okay.
