Please help i need advice on eggs

Is friend has a broody sitting on some duck eggs and has sent some pictures of the eggs not sure if they are still alive any help would be great

You could candle them, it works for chickens so I don't see why it won't work for ducks. But to candle them the duckling would need to be developed enough to see them in the egg.
