Ok!

That sucks I thought I needed more humidity and added more water! UHHHHHHH!

What should I do now?

Thank you JOdy and I am sorry I am in a panic.

Just to clarify what have you had your humidity at for the whole hatch from start to finish...

I keep mine at 40 to 50% first 18 days

60 to 70% the last three.....

This might help for future hatchings...

Check all your instruments.

Sounds almost like humidity was too high during the first 18 so they got sticky and didn't lose enough water, and not high enough at the end, so the stickness left over from the beginning didn't help them with getting stuck at the end.

You all have saved my last 3 eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I say this because I ended up putting the hatching eggs in the other incubator, then dumped about "a gallon" of water out of the hova!!!!! OMG it was the stupid accurite I had! The humidity was I think at 80-90%!!!!! The Accurite was reading it at 65%-67% !!!! Oh geesh that makes me mad.

Anyway, I have finally put them back in the hatcher after I did that and to my suprize the one that piped a big hole now has the membrane on the shell instead of on it, also....the splash that piped has a nice soft membrane on the egg....so yippee!!!!

Just a note if your not doing it...I change the batteries on my thermometer/hygrometer everytime I start a new hatch of eggs...

Good luck Tsagirl! I hope you get these special babies to hatch well for you. And I have to say..mama is pretty smart cuz she knew in her heart she had to take action to make sure everything was right.

The issue with the accurites is their not really meant to be inside high humidity environments all of the time. This is what I think causes them to give defective readings. Usually letting them sit out to dry out a while helps them restore better readings, but not always.
