Please help identify this critter caught on camera.

What do you all think? Young fox? Domestic cat? Opossum? Lion?? (jk!) I know we have a fox or two because our girls were getting picked off this spring while free ranging. We see an obvious fox on camera in the same location a couple of times a week, thus the logic behind thinking perhaps it could be a young one.

Am I seeing this right? Isn’t that a skinny tail, not a fluffy one?

That's it's leg, the tail is to the left of that. I had the same thought, til I pulled out my magnifying glass. It's definitely a fox.

@micstrachan I was seeing it like you. What we were thinking was the tail is an extended hind leg. When you blow the picture up A LOT, you can see that the bushy tail is to the left of this leg.

Oddly, in the game camera app, I can only increase the size of the picture a little bit, but after posting it on the forum here, I am able to expand to a much larger size. (Have to wear my cheaters too!)
