Please help identify worms?

My quail discarded this in her poop. It was wiggling for a few seconds. Please let me know what it is and how to treat it.

The quail? Yes. She discarded this in her poo yesterday. All the other droppings are normal looking and she isn't showing any signs of sickness.

The poo, no. We disposed of it.

That looks like a bunch of roundworms. Treatment is fenbendazole (Safeguard) or albendazole (Valbazen).

How much does she weigh?

Treatment:
Fenbendazole - 0.05 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally
Albendazole - 0.04 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally

Thanks for the info. She is a Gambel quail. I don't know how much she weighs. We'll treat her for roundworms.

I would treat EVERY bird for roundworms at the same time.

I have used a kitchen plastic container with the lid, paper towel on the bottom, to put a quail in to weigh on a kitchen scale.

I'd worm all my birds if I found that thing!
