I bought five chicks at Atwood's three days ago. First time momma hen here. I believe they are all pullets. I think I have possibly two Rhode Island Reds and one Lavender Orpington but I am not certain with the employees uncertain themselves. The other two I am definitely unsure. The black one is the youngest of the group. It has a yellow under belly, black feet, black top feathers with white under feathers. It's driving me crazy not knowing the breeds lol the yellow bird is also an unknown. Tia.

How old are they? I am thinking two might be cockerels for sure (black and grey) just a guess right now as they look to be a bit young to sex.. Unsure about breeds.

Edit: they look to be about 3 weeks

I'm unsure since I got them at Atwood's but based on my research. I think the black one is about a week and the others 10-16 days is my guess. I'm hoping they are pullets.AAny guess to breeds for any of them?

Thank you! I will definitely post pics in the future. When should I take new pics and repost them? How old is a good age for a more accurate ID?
