Black one could be an Australorp, @3KillerBs what do you think? Yellow maybe a buff Orpington? Grey one looks more like a sapphire gem but it’s hard to tell in the dim light. They are cute, that’s for sure!

Calmness doesn't always determine sex. I've had roosters that weren't crazy but calm.
I bought five chicks at Atwood's three days ago. First time momma hen here. I believe they are all pullets. I think I have possibly two Rhode Island Reds and one Lavender Orpington but I am not certain with the employees uncertain themselves. The other two I am definitely unsure. The black one is the youngest of the group. It has a yellow under belly, black feet, black top feathers with white under feathers. It's driving me crazy not knowing the breeds lol the yellow bird is also an unknown. Tia.
The picture? Here's this pic. The grey one is the calmest out of the five. The the yellow one is 2nd calmest

The black on is the smallest working hard to establish itself high in the pecking order. It's the first to steal something from another chicks beak lolThe light gray/lavender chick and the black and white chick both look like cockerels. The comb looks like it's developing faster than our pullets when they were chicks.
Young pullets often do things such as fighting and stealing food to get higher in the pecking order. It doesn't always mean they're a cockerel, but I'm pretty sure from the way the comb looks that you have a cockerel! The black on is the smallest working hard to establish itself high in the pecking order.
