Can anyone help me identify these chicks? I know what I ordered but I can't tell them apart! buff orps, welsummers, and australorps are self explainatory. I am having a hard time with the buff brahmas, light brahmas, and partridge cochins. I appreciate any help!

The cochins will have a single comb. (looks like a blade) The brahma's will have pea combs. (looks like little bumps)

Here's my light brahma as a chick (the white/gray one in front, center):

Here is a chart showing the comb types:

I've had light and buff Brahmas come in that were yellow as chicks. The only way I could tell them apart was wait for the wing feathers to start coming in. The light Brahmas will have white wings with some black and the buffs will have blonde colored wings with black. Partridge Cochins will have obvious pencilling come in on the wing feathers. Happy Chooks already told you the difference in the combs. Good luck.
