Please Help! Is this a goose long or duckling?

I rescued this baby on side of road mother nowhere be found, I thought it was a Canadian gooseling but its feet turning little yellow so maybe it's duckling, whatever it is what breed is it? Thank you

Definitely a gosling. Might be a Canada gosling, but if its feet are turning orange, it could be a toulouse.

Make sure you get another gosling to keep the little one company if you decide to keep it

If it does end up being a Canada goose, you'll want to get it to a wildlife rehabber, since owning a wild one is illegal.

Oh no! Poor baby. Canada geese can actually develop a bit of a yellow/pink tinge as they grow...That's honestly what this looks like, to me. Where you found it is pretty telling, too.

Pyxis is indeed right. Keeping a wild Canada goose is illegal, and a rehabber is best equipped to get this little one grown and ready for migration. They might even have another little orphan that needs this one as company!
