I have a rouen duck that is about 18 months old. I started noticing her acting different about 3 weeks ago when she stopped reliably laying eggs. Since she has stopped she has layed 3 eggs, one was 1/3 the size of a normal egg, one came out already broken and the most recent one was normal (about a week ago). I figured she was just stressed because we introduced her and her two chicken friends to two new hens (she is the only duck). Today I noticed she wasn't acting like herself, limping, acting generally lethargic. She is eating (mostly just treats, peas, her favorite) and drinking some but is not her normal energetic, in-your-face self. The first thing I checked were her feet and found a spot on it that appears to be bumblefoot. I have heard about this in chickens but have no idea what to do for it. However, I'm getting more concerned because when she is sitting still her entire back end tenses up and relaxes repeatedly. I gave her a once over and found a somewhat soft knot in her abdomen close to her tail and when I press on it she flinches and tries to get away. I would say that it is probably half the size of an egg and is situated slightly to her left side. I need any advice I can get, I am worried about her. Please Help!!
