Please help! Lockdown tonight!!

This egg was developing the same as the others at day 7 with veins and movement. Around day 12, I couldn’t see veins anymore. This is what it looked like (black and white photos). Is this a blood ring? Since then, the dark area that is typically the embryo has gotten bigger, but I don’t see veins anymore and there’s no movement that I can see (orange pics - opposite sides of the egg.) For the most part, I don’t believe it’s viable anymore but just in case, I’ve been afraid to remove it. It’s time for lockdown now. Could it really explode if I leave it In? Please tell me what to do!

Remove it.
It's no good.

I second Kiki, it's definitely not viable. I would usually say to leave it if you weren't sure as long as it doesn't smell but there's not question on this one. The egg would be mostly dark from the grown chick at this point. The blurry/darker area you're seeing when candling is probably only changing in size due to bacteria and break down. How many other eggs do you have in lockdown?

I will have 7 remaining. about half of them are completely dark. The other half I can just see a tiny bit into. Just enough to see some veins and maybe a little flicker of movement.

All of the remaining 7 hatched! First hatched at about 7:30 Sunday morning and the last one hatched between 11pm and 3am while I was asleep. One ended up hatching out the side of the egg. He pipped in the right place but his foot was over the top of his head and came out first. He struggled but finally made it out. All are dry, fluffy and in the brooder with the 6 day-olds I picked up from Mt Healthy Hatchery on Saturday. I’m a happy first time Hatcher!
