hhhhmmmm.....squirrel! got some in my freezer right now! dh has just been trying to fatten the local ones up all summer! anyone have some good recipes! i might just use the ones we have for some dog treats but it is neat to find some recipes too!

Here in the Northeast we use bows to hunt our squirrels. Right now they are in their rut.

This little critter waits for my dogs to wander off, then runs on the screened in back porch, steals a piece of food at a time, and runs to the corner to eat it. This way he has a good view if the dogs should come back! Sorry the pic is a little blurry but I had to take it from indoors.
