Might need to post a little better pic. One that shows the whole run area. Might have to put up posts like they do for fly pens and suspend the netting from the posts.

I used those smallish screw in hooks from the hardware store under the eves of the roof. I can't tell if yours is all metal or if you have any wood that you could screw into.
Then I hooked deer netting to it and pulled it over the run. You can either hook it to the fencing or add a few nails to the wood.

You could also try the fishing line with CDs attached to it.. Ive heard folks say it works really well... Sorry about your hen...

That might be difficult. It looks like it goes downhill? You might be able to use the coop as a starting point- drape from coop roof to top of fence. You should be able to attach it to the trees without having to go around them. I used twine to attach the netting to trees.

and .. LOL at the bad goose. You stayed prety still while he was attacking LOL

never thought of fishing line.. that may be an idea...

I'll try to find the post about it.. They used the fishing line and crisscrossed it over the run with a cd every foot or so...

Protection from Hawks, when you say fishing line, I can only picture on long say string. Do you mean playing cd's

I may have to put up protection from Hawks, so this is timely
