Please help me identify Rodney's breed

I bet if you put some adult hens in that coop, he'll be more than interested.

hahaha,,, is a great feeling when they let ya that close huh

i'd give him 1/2 and 1/2 for food right now,, he'll like the scratch better and is like tempting a kid with candy,,, then i would do 3/4 layer and 1/4 scratch. ,, and go get a net,, you'll need it hehehe ,, trust me, even if their within 6 inch's from ya, the minute you move towards him to get him in the coop,, he'll be so far from ya hahaha,, they ARE faster then they look.

oh i KNOW he's fast. and nimble too! i was going to sit in the coop and lure him in with a string on the door. once he's in pull and trap HAHA. then i walkout keeping him away. but at least he's temptable (new word!).

still perplexed on the age thing and how to tell! i'm glad he's young!

Why dont you just make a trail of canned corn into the coop?
Stand back and let him just walk in...
Or, if you know where he roosts at during the night, Just go get him then. use a small blanket and put it over him, Chickens cant see in the dark very well at all, so you wont have a problem catching him after nightfall.
I agree with you, He is a very beautiful boy! I think he would be happy to get a girl or two or three or four, tehehe.
He wont be too rough with more than one.

i haven't noticed any spurs to tell you the truth. haven't been looking for them. i'll take a good look tomorrow though for sure.

ah ok thanks!!!!!!!! hehe now i get to try and stare at his feet tomorrow lol!

sucks i have a meeting at 1pm. that's peak coop building time!
