Please help me my roosters are super skinny.

So I bought 7 month old silver braekel. Hens. And so in total I have 18-20 hens. One of the hens has be 1.5 cm spurs so just wanted to know that if a hen has spurs will it still be able to lay an egg or does that indicate that it’s too old. Because the breeder I bought it from said they are 7months old. Ok and then three days later I bought 2 roosters. The roosters are the exact same breed. But the breeder put thin ones in the box. And gave me the thin ones so how can I add muscle to them. I have been feeding the roosters chick feed with a little both of crushed eggshells. I also gave them boiled eggs. But I really want them to get EXTRA LARGE!! LIKE SUPER LARGE!! So is it fine if I feed them broiler feed ?

For the hen/egg question, I think it could vary. Even some pullets develop spurs, but still lay eggs. If she has begun developing saddle feathers or otherwise acting male though, I would be concerned that either a) she is actually male or b) old hen with some ovary atrophy going on. Either one means no eggs.

'Thin' is also often genetic. You will never be able to get a non-meat breed to grow into broiler size. Changing the feed won't help either, as broiler feed is really just slightly higher in protein. If it's not genetics and the roosters were malnourished when young, I'm not sure how much they will grow with good feed now.

I'd like to see pictures of this hen though and how skinny the roosters are.

Write now it’s night time. But the Roos are tall and look like they are really malnourished the Eid combs and wattles are huge. I have seen the same breed of roosters. Which are massive. But this one is just super thin. So how can I make em big.

These are the hens. I didn’t have a photo of the roosters. But you could have the idea of what hens I have. The roosters are the same breed as the black and white ones. They are called as “silver braekel”
