Please help me sex this 14 week old silkie!

    I thought my silkie was a cockerel until I went to pick him up today and I think he did a submissive squat! Ideas on the pictures?[​IMG]

    Looks like a male to me but then again silkies are very difficult to sex

    I would take it for a male too...sometimes bottom of the pecking order roo's will be submissive, but I also agree an egg squat is hen behavior.

    Silkies can be very frustrating to sex...I guess wait until crow or egg on this one.

    I'm leaning towards cockerel, but Silkies are extremely hard to sex, so I could be wrong.
