Please help me understand what happened.

I had an egg alone in an incubator (wasn't even sure if viable just did it for fun) and it ended up hatching at 2 am out of the blue. I took it from the incubator and into a very warm cushioned "brooder". The baby chick couldn't walk without shaking and falling over and within an hour of hatch began bleeding profusely from the lower abdomen (navel?). I stayed up all night to try different things for her bc she wouldn't stop chirping and trying to walk (she could only scoot). I believe she was in pain and I feel horrible. I can get a picture if I need to but looking at her body (after death) I see that it looks like she didn't fully develop and she had no skin or feathers covering this fleshy organy area. I want to know what happened. There was flesh in her egg I believe she didn't absorb fully. Was she born too soon?

I believe it was early. I don't know how long the egg was in the coop, I only removed the eggs bc a neighbors dog had ripped my coop apart and gotten most of the eggs I was going to let the hen hatch them. Was in the incubator about 2 weeks.

Not sure about day but believe it was early (see other reply). I'll attach a photo but it's very sad.

She may have had an unabsorbed yolk sac that ruptured causing her to bleed out. The blood loss would have been what caused her death. I'm very sorry.
