Please Help ME With My Young Splash Orp

I would put him inside and monitor him like Horsefeatherz said. Then you will be able to tell if he really has a problem or not. Give him lots of oil, like Nat says.

If he does have a problem, like an impacted crop, that won't go away on its own, get El N to do a simple surgery on it that you can find here on BYC. EL NN can easily do it and you won't even have to watch.

I have had pendulous crop issues with several Orps, both Buffs and Blues. Seems they can be prone to that. It may not be an issue for him. Jody Hinkle's 7 yr old hen, a Buff Orp named Big Mama, died recently. She had that issue for years and it never seemed to bother her. My blue Orp, Smoky, has a crop that looks like your guy's and swings back and forth when she runs. Do watch for sour crop issues, though.

Listen to Spec Hen. Her advice is probably better than ours. Keep an eye on him though. I still might bring him inside for a few days to keep and eye on him. Make sure he isn't getting thin and things are passing through.

OK, i'm looking up impacted crop surgey.
I give him bread with olive oil during the day, and I take the food away at night, and he has been in the house for 3 days now, so before I feed him in the morning, I feel his crop and the mushy stuf still in there, and when he eats I can feel his new food, so it looks like there is food stuck in there,I really don't want him to go tru surgery, is there some thing else??
I've been rubbing his crop the whole day, if he still the same tomorow I guess is surgery for him

his crop swings too when he runs, when would I know if he's got sour crop?

He'll act sick and his breath will smell really sour, like fermented stuff. Crop stasis (quits working) happens sometimes when they get moldy feed and a fungus sets up in there. That would probably require surgery. Keep massaging the crop, give him unfiltered apple cider vinegar in his water, and plain active culture yogurt, scrambled eggs and quit the regular grains/feed for a couple days. See if it goes down and check to see if he's losing weight. Crop stasis will keep any food from getting into his body.

he doesn't act sick and his breath don't smell like anything. i started massaging his crop this evening and hopefully it'll start going down. i'll give him apple cider tonight. i just gave him some boiled eggs with some grit mixed in but the yogurt will be for the morning. what do you think? he already had his regular feed today so i'll not give him anything tomorrow but his yogurt and boiled eggs with grit.
