thx, just asking because my rhode island red hens have attacked and injured the cats before and the roosters of that breed are supposably very aggressive. I'll try the introduction idea since the cats are so afraid of the chickens now. thanks again

I wouldn't trust cats around chicks. I also wouldn't try to introduce them since the cats are scared of your chickens. That's a good thing! They are most likely not going to harass your adult birds, and your roosters probably won't go after them unless they feel cornered.
