Please help my chick

Please help, its my first time growing a baby chick and she been around 24 days with me. I noticed

the feathers grows rough and i van see the skin of my chick. I dont know what to do please help.

Shes been eating fine, drinking finw, still energetic

Could it be new feathers coming in? My chicks looked like that after 10 days. I’m new to this too.

Hmmm it looks like it because her down feather became really thin. Rough meaning its not growing like how its first feathers grew

Sounds like it’s her growing new feathers. Especially if she’s eating drinking acting normal. Are droppings normal too?

Looks normal to me. Chicks look pretty scraggly when they grow in their adult feathers, and all birds can look bad when they're molting too. Some worse than others, but it's completely normal.

I think it is just normal feather growth. Sometimes chicks look terrible at the stage when they are half fluff and half feather.
Also that chick is a cockerel.

I was thinking the same thing. Still a little young to tell But that comb makes me think rooster

That's perfectly normal, that's how they look as their feathers grow in. And that's definitely a male.
