over a month ago Mrs. Green (a barred rock adult hen) was having issues. She was having really bad green poop and my sister (who helps me take care of the flock) and I were soaking her butt every night because she was getting to clogged up. She was also making a wheezing 'aww' sound. She was really weak, excluding herself from the others even. After little over a week of doing this she self corrected. i figured it was because she was always in the pasture part Last night we were doing our semi weekly butt checks and her butt feathers were gooped in yellow green pasty looking poop. We imedatily soaked her butt and all became well and clean. Tonight we check her and it didn't seem too bed but then she "pooped" it was a yellowy water like crap. She's also still has that respiratory problem (she never lost it). So we went to soak her cause there was some on her vent and around and I wanted to be sure, but it wasn't coming off. Eventually we just used a baby wipe (the same I use on my goats). Any clue as to why this is happening to Mrs. Green? She is the only one affected.

Hi.
Does Mrs. Green lay eggs?
Can you check her crop first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks to see if it's empty?
If it's not, then let us know.
Also feel her abdomen between her legs below the vent - do you notice any bloat/swelling or fluid - sort of like she has a full diaper.
Does what wouldn't come off have a yeasty/sour smell?

If possible, get some photos of her poop, of her too! and of her vent.

Yes she lays eggs. Last night she had a medium sized putty like crop and the poop wasn't even thick enough last night to get a picture because it 'disappeared' in the grass and the smell is overwhelmingly strong but I wouldn't say yesty or sour. I massaged her lower half last night for a moment and hadn't felt anything abnormal.

Right, I would expect the crop to have some food in it at night, but check it First thing in the morning before she's eaten or drank. It should be empty. If it's not, then let us know.

When you have time, get us some photos too please:)

Okay I will try to get pictures of her latter in the day and check her crop tomorrow morning

If there ever was a deworming it would have been about 3 years ago (that's how old she is) Technically she is my moms chicken (we share a flock but I'm the person who handles the issues and she supplies food and de and ect.)
