Please help, My chickens are dying!

Make sure they are drinking the Corid water. Dip their beaks, syringe feed it, put it on food. The worst thing about coccidiosis is that they don't want to eat or drink, and that is how it is treated. After a 5 day course, you can give the medicine at 1/2 strength for another 5 days. Give them vitamins and probiotics after treatment.

My DH is building them a coop, but there have been other developments in our world that are causing the construction to be delayed. I just returned from my 3 hour drive to the nearest supplier. I wanted to check and see if there were any other posts. The Corid is going into the water today. I will keep posting the results. If anyone has any other hints or follow up for this I would appreciate any help. I do feel much better now that I at least have some medicine and can do SOMETHING besides watch them die.

I know how that goes, we've had our birds since March and my DH is STILL working on the laying boxes!!! Luckily my girls don't seem to mind open boxes. I sure hope you can get them healthy again, it sucks feeling helpless. Let us know how they progress. Good luck!

I wanted to update everyone on the flock. They are all doing well. They are half way thru the Corid dose. Everyone is eating and no diarrhea. Energy seems to be back to usual. I want to thank everyone for all of the help you gave me. I could not have saved my flock without all of you.
