Where we live we have ducks, my husbands boss absolutely adores them. One of them, a hen, has been badly beaten up by the drakes. We found her up in the field, she is alive but seems badly abused, she has been severely pecked, her eyes are white and yellow and swollen. We have caught her and don't know what to do with her. Right now we have her in a 10 x 10 pen, should we put her in a dog crate?? Is there anything we can give her?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
