Ha ha, my pics are much duckier.

Here he is doing his yawn thing, it's cute, unless it means in duck language "I am freaking dying"

This is how he has been since I opened the shell, I only unwrapped him to take the first pics and change his paper towel. Something yellow stained the paper towels - could it be yolky-egg-poop I hope? It smelled funky.

Here is my setup. Although it is a sauna in there, it isn't that foggy, my lens just fogged. The 125W brooding lamp isn't pointed directly at the egg. Plastic water trays are to increase humidity even more. The egg is sitting on top of the rainbow colored T-shirt.

Room temp is 90F. When I put the thermometer on top of the egg, it reads 97F- too hot? I don't want him to overheat in his little seran-wrap raincoat.

Thank you for all of your input, I truly appreciate it.

I'm very sad to hear that he may be that underdeveloped. I thought he would be further along since he had internally pipped and was tapping at the egg. Is that 20 day estimate for a muscovy duck? If he has 15 more days to go that would be very bad news. I feel terrible.

I apologize, I just hatched chickens and my brain was in that mode. Looks more like day 24-25 for a duck.... The eyes are what tells me it is underdeveloped. They are not even close to being open. I think at this point, I personally would peel away the membrane that is visible. Keep it wet, keep in the bator.

Thank you for your honest opinions, I will definitely give updates.

Wow, the internet can be an amazing and wonderful thing, huh?
