Okay, I was out planting today and the neighbors were shooting the bb gun. They were walking around shooting birds and I was fine until... They shot a robin and it flopped into my yard. They laughed at it for a long time and I found it and tried to help it. Well, it died after laying an egg in my garden. Then I see a little bird slightly bigger than a finch. (S)he flopped down from a tree and landed in my yard. It's wing was hanging by a thread and it was bleeding. what was left of the wing fell off when I picked it up. It is alive so far and very active. It will flop around on my leg and things like that. I fed it some crushed up scratch with water. It ate it and drank some. So my question is what do I do with this thing? If it lives I can't release it, and when I set it on the porch it ran off and tried to hop in a tree. I looked in the tree and found two small eggs. I'm guessing their her's if it is a she... So, what do I do?!?
