PLEASE HELP!!! Need to identify egg bound or constipation

What we've been saying is that she doesn't seem outwardly sick. Other than laying down a lot, she's not acting sick. Maybe egg bound. Maybe beginning to be broody. I also wouldn't keep her penned and away from her flock. Try to get her up and make her move around periodically. Try to get things working through her system. Monitor poop and food/water intake. Maybe keep a feeder and waterer right by her chosen rest area. Take up feed and water after bedtime and then check crop first thing in the morning.

She just came back from the fair and the next day we noticed she was hiding and laying down
For how long did she have to stay there away from home?

Some chickens suffer from disorientation/slight shock when suddenly being taken out of their usual surroundings, having to face all kinds of unknown creatures, sounds and people staring at them, rattling the cage or/and touching them.

She does not look sick at all and her walking is normal too. So no egg binding or similar.

To me she does look somewhat broody, and some broodies only defecate 3-4 times during the whole period and only after a lot of walking outside, as the digestive tract needs stimulation to work properly.

she was there for 4 days. Her bum area is hard to the touch compared to my other hens. I thought she could be stressed which sorta stems from disorientation. She is very tired and wants to sleep. I hate to keep bringing her in and out of the cage.

Did you send a friend for company to be with her or did she have to stay there all alone?
