Please Help! New Duckling Owners...

Well, that was a bust. We get there and they didn't have ducklings...they told us to try back tomorrow. But we have good news, we got a wooden doghouse! One step closer! We're thinking of making the roof hinge so it can be opened and cleaned easily. We're also going to add a chicken wire run and seal the inside of the house so it doesn't get super stinky

I have the same house for 2 of mine. So far they're happy using it. I've thought about hinging the lid for easy access. Let me know how you do it;-)

Thanks I just don't get it, that's an aweful lot of ducks for a preditor... Last year we had a fox problem he would come take three per week. Grrrr

Since Saturday I have lost 10 call ducks, have no clue if it was a predator or if they flew off. Did find feathers in the yard though..
