Please help, not sure what the problem is...

I tried to do the vent check but I couldn’t, I’m sorry. Her vent is super small and she just wasn’t letting my finger go in. I feel horrible right now. I don’t have anyone to help me with the beak at the moment, I’m so stuck and it’s really frustrating. I’m trying everything I can but it’s hard. Gee now I’m crying, I’m sorry. Thanks for all of your help so far you guys
:hugsIt's going to be ok girly!

Don't cry:hugs

If the vent is small, then she is not ready to lay, so we can probably rule out egg binding.
You are doing what you can for her. She has drank a little and eaten some too.

Let her rest, leave the water with her. In the morning let us know how she is.

Hi everyone! Daisy is doing amazing! She was such a good girl and didn’t make a single peep the whole night! She spilled her water in the night, but I refilled it with some electrolyte water and she has had at least 10 drinks from it. She had about 3-4 poops during the night and has had 6 poops so far this morning. Her crop was almost empty so I gave her some wet food. She has eaten a bit. She’s been trying to walk and is able to take a step or two at a time, but she’s a bit wonky still. I picked her up to take her too see my parents and she was a very calm little girl, but after I put her down and she tried to shake, her wing would bknf of lift up and bend a bit and she would sort of stumble and fall to the ground. She did this twice. She has been pretty alert, looking around, making noise if I leave the room. She just isn’t very steady in her feet, like I said, trouble walking, and if I touch her she sort of wobbles a bit, same with the shaking, she’s just having trouble keeping her balance. Any ideas what it would be? Th one thing she seems fairly steady on is stretching, like when she stretches her wing and her leg backwards. Thank you all so much for all of your help so far!

She looks a lot better this morning.
If I were you I would try to limit her treats to zero and keep her eating a complete feed only.
Do you have any vitamins on hand?

Have you recently (last month or two) added any new birds to your flock?

What do you feed her?

The shaking is concerning along with the limited mobility. From what I can see, the poop looks o.k.

I would get her on some Poultry Vitamins that contains E, B2 and B1. Sometimes it can be hard to find that combination so you can use human vitamins instead. For vitamin E you can squeeze out 1 400IU capsule daily into her food and crush up 1/4 tablet of human B-Complex into her feed daily as well.

The crop not emptying completely overnight you need to watch that - soft foods and wet feed would be good, offer poultry grit free choice. You may want to massage her crop several times a day too so you can become familiar with how it feels.

I’ve just been giving her her wet food and no treats. No vitamins just human vitamins.

I feed her what the rest of my flock eats, 18% grower food. It’s not abig name brand just made locally by our farm store.

I shouldn’t have said “shaking” like that. You know how when you hold a chicken and then set it down the sort of puff up and shake? She tried to do that but kind of lost her balance and fell.

I will see if I have some of those human vitamins and if I do, I will make sure to put that into her food.

I will also massage her crop and give her the grit.

She is able to take a few steps, but not much more than that.
