@KikisGirls I was having trouble finding those claims too. The Virkon website said to look at the product label. It has a LONG list you can find that here:

@TheYLWFlock I would use what you have, but you could always call Virkon (Lanxess now) and ask about the particular "formula" you have. 1-800-441-9408

I got hooked on this thread and read through the whole thing, hoping for Daisy to pull through the whole time. It definitely didn't end the way I hoped, but it was so nice to see how kind and helpful and supportive so many of you were. It's nice to know that if I run into trouble in the future there is somewhere I can go to get some help from knowledgable, compassionate people. I hope you get some answers about what happened.

Just wondering, my coop s wooden, is it ok to spray the Virkon onto it?

No reason why not. Most animal housing will have some timber in the construction and the product is marketed for use in animal housing. The product would therefore have a pretty clear and obvious warning if it was not suitable for use on wood.
