Please help not sure what to do!

Hmm I would say look closely for a very small crack. If there is a crack , leave the egg alone but if there is no crack and if the room is warm open the incubator , carefully candle the egg and see if it has internally pipped. If it has , put the egg back in the incubator and wait. Keep us updated.

Hi! So I just took the egg out and had a look, I candled, all I can see is the air sac although next to it I could see rippling. It hasn't internal pipped as far as I can see.. Also couldn't see any small cracks although there is a couple of little marks on the egg minuscule. But when the I put it back in when I put it down its almost as if it rolled into a different position??!!! And there was a little wobble?? What do you think?

Well it is alive. When you picked the egg up and put it down it panicked and the egg move. I had a one day early hatch. When it was cracking the egg it was very slow but when ever I spoke something it started to crack the egg faster even a mother duck quacks to encourage the duckling out. Dont worry. While you were candling did you see movement. If you didnt dont worry and dont take out the egg again.

I did see movement and since then we have had some rocking!! I am willing this little one to live! Gosh I hope something happens soon .....do you think there is a possibility it could get stuck in there I just found it odd there was no internal pipping yet.

Yes,(I don't want to scare you)Ducks can sometime get stuck in their egg leading to death . This kinda happens alot with ducks , wait a day and candle again. If it has internally pipped by then , leave it but if it has not, take instructions from the net and help it out. Take advice from others as well before helping it out.

Thanks so much for the advice I really appreciate you guys taking the time to help!! I had a look today, I was sure that baby must have died as still nothing. but I candled, and although I can't be certain I think it may have internally pipped!!! I have drawn a picture of what I can see as I didn't want to leave it out to long but at the very bottom of the air sac I can see what looks like whispy membrane and I can definitely see a bump of some sorts which is moving a proud, could this be it????

Wait a day and see I think it has internally pipped.if it has it should be out of the egg within 24 hours.

Ok no problem, keeping everything crossed!!! will let. You know how we get on x:)

Nothing this morning, last night it was moving lots when I put my torch in ( for a second) I could see its beak in the air sac. This morning no pip......what do I do? X
