PLEASE HELP, POSSIBLE EGG BOUND?

Thanks for all the concern and helpful ideas for Isabelle, but she ended up passing away on the next day. We did take her in to have an autopsy done, just to be sure that what we thought was wrong with her was indeed the problem. We found out that her oviduct had ruptured from possible egg binding. I am sad and miss her, but at least it was nothing that could have been passed to my other chickens AND that she's not suffering anymore.

I'm really sorry to read that she passed. I have an ill girl myself & the thought of her passing terrifies me but with the help & advice of this lovely community we have all given our best to give the chickens a fighting chance, you did very well trying to heal her & I hope if anyone else has similar problems this advice helps them at an early stage x

Sorry about the loss of Isabelle. Her life and for sure her struggle chronicled on this website will be a learning experience for others. A life not wasted. Thanks for sharing your efforts on BYC. Hard as it may have been.
