Announcement Please Help & Reply To Unanswered Threads

It seems that no one is getting answers again. Threads from days ago still have no replies!
I've been trying my best to answer as many threads that I can (unfortunately I'm not feeling great, so I've been doing less than usual)
Yes, I’m aware that this happens but maybe sometimes someone who can actually help won’t see it unless they get tagged… or sometimes someone that could actually help skips through since it’s already answered.

It could go both ways. I guess you’re right.
I rather agree. Often, it seems it'll have 0 response for a week, I'll reply (trying to give as much info as possible, and maybe a tag) but then suddenly it gets a bunch of helpful replies.

But I also agree with Wyorp Rock, too.

It is funny to me to see topics come back like this one! We went over this a year ago and even came up with a google sheet of members to tag in areas of expertise.

So the answer from back then was that it was good to tag someone and to use the spread sheet.

Of course the spread sheet might be out of date now.

Probably more than a year ago now 🤣

Yep. There's a spreadsheet somewhere.

Good to reply (use some words!) to the OP and tag someone yes. Reply with tags only so a thread falls off the unanswered list, not so good, it's not an answer. Replying to a thread that is only 2-3 minutes old with a string of tags is not an "answer".
Oh, that makes sense! I had been wondering if it was ok to give some advice, but then have a more experienced member help out.
Like I said. Shouldn't have brought it up. Never Mind. I am done, I will not make any more comments to any type of thread like this at all.
I don't think anyone means that you shouldn't! (I'm so sorry if my quoting this post makes you feel even more regretful)

This has probably been said many times already but the following might be able to help with managing the length of the list.

Is it possible to add a feature which sends the people who post a sell/rehome message an automatic message after a certain amount of time? With the question if their animals are still available or gone already?
Because I replied to one (and it happened some times before) with a suggestion for a quicker sell. Only to get a reply that they are already gone.
People post them on social media etc. too...
