First let me say, I am totally new at this! I just picked up three silkie chicks yesterday. They are all around a week old and two of them are looking fantastic! The smallest of the three doesn't seem to be doing well though. I noticed a lot of head shaking/head twitching yesterday and today I've noticed the chick has started yawning/mouth breathing. It's nose was crusted shut on one side and icky on the other. I'm also noticing a crackling sound coming from its nose when it inhales. Any advice would be great!!!!
